Configure Bitmaps

NOTE: At this time, bitmaps are only supported in CADFusion projects that target the A3200 motion control system.

  1. Select the bitmap on the canvas or in the Project pane. For more information, refer to Select Shapes and Entities.
  2. In the Properties pane, you can edit the properties in the table that follows.
  3. Table:     Bitmap Properties

  4. Property Description

    Rotation

Rotates the bitmap about its center by increments of 90 degrees.

    Reflection

Reflects the bitmap horizontally, vertically or in both directions.

    Overscan Distance

The amount of buffer distance to use when marking to allow the acceleration of the marking motion to settle.

Marking Pixel Size Change the marking pixel size. Refer to Marking Pixel Size.

    Marking Direction

Specify if you want to mark the bitmap horizontally or vertically.

    Marking Pattern

Specify if you want to mark unidirectionally or bidirectionally.

    Bidirectional Offset

The offset distance to use to align the pixels when you are marking bidirectionally. This value is a function of marking speed and laser latency. You must experiment with different values until you find a value that has visually satisfactory results. Refer to How Bitmaps Are Marked.
